Just got home and noticed my brain coral eating my cardinal fish. Was wondering if i should try to remove the fish as it's quite big? Is a brain coral capable of capturing a healthy fish of this size or was he probably dead first? He was accounted for this morning

Thank you in advance, any help would be appreciated

The fish was probably dead before the brain coral got ahold of it. Whether or not the coral will be able to eat the fish whole I don't know, but I would remove it and offer something a little smaller. Maybe some NLS pellets, a piece of shrimp etc.

Yea, its pretty much 100% likely that it was dead before the coral got it. I would remove it mainly so that when it lets go, the dead body does not just float around the tank and pollute the water. Its not going to really harm the coral by being too big, it will just spit out whats left after its finished with it.
