Open Brain Coral Struggling

I added an open brain Coral about a month ago. It's struggling and not doing well. My water parameters are: calcium 425ppm, alkalinity 8.4 dKH, Magnesium 1360, PH 8.4, Salinity 1.025. It's on the sand bed with low flow. I have zoas, a Duncan, a hammer, & a frogspawn all doing well. Any event would be appreciated.

Have you tried feeding the coral directly?
What lighting type/fixture?

I have two AI Hydras 26 HD's for lighting. Here's my lighting control set up. I've target fed it some mysis shrimp on a couple occasions as well as some reef roids and shrimp pellets. Other feeding recommendations?

It looks like a younger tank. How long has it been set up?

The algae is not causing the damage per say, but it inhibits repair. I would get that off it. I would carefully do a dip in revive and iodine. This is not for any obvious issue, but can be therapeutic. It is certainly receding. Could have been damaged when you got it. They can be tricky depending on genus. Make sure you are getting food to it. Make sure it is not in direct or lots of flow and light.

It is a younger tank. It has only been set up about 10 months. I just started adding coral about three months ago.

These guys also like a bit more mature tank as Martyd stated above it looks young.

Lighting is fine.

Try some pellets or a frozen mixture like Rod's. Introduce a small portion of food to the tank at night, wait 20-30 min for the coral to display a feeding response. Turn off pumps and use a turkey baster to feed the coral, give the coral some time to consume some the the food.
If you have stealing shrimp and hermit crabs you may need to distract them with their own food to keep them at bay.
If you do not see an improvement or decline in 2 weeks time, double check your testing methods for all parameters. This coral is a lower lighting coral it may need placement in an area of lower light.
