Open Head ? Tunze Turbelle Nanostream

Aren't you looking into trouble using the Turbelle Nanostream, with it's 1/2 open head design, with snails, fish and corals
getting into the propeller ?

I like it. Remember that the unit will auto shut off at the at the slightest resistance. Because of this safety feature I am not too worried about snails. I am more concerned regarding my fish and I might modify the pump for that reason. Ones corals should be secured enough that they pose no issue with regard to this pump. Over all it is a very nice product for those keeping nano and want to keep sps as well, I recommend it.
