I was thinking of adding one to my 250 gallon reef. The one I can get is a larger one, around 4.5" or so. Current inhabitants are leopard wrasses, fairy/flashers, tangs, dwarf angel and clowns.

I have had them get nippy towards fairy and flasher wrasses.

Even if it's added to a tank with established wrasses? I have about 8 of them.

Yeah. The ones I have dealt with had to be removed due to aggression, especially as they got bigger, even towards wrasses more established than themselves.

However, there could always be wxceptions, so if you have an exit plan.....

I do have an exit plan, it's just I can get one wholesale but the only thing that worries me is he is huge.
