Hoping the photo helps a bit. So I'm using 2 jebao pp8 running at 50% slightly offset pointed up. They create excellent surface agitation also providing a wave crash near middle. I actually enjoy the sound and hope the reef friends enjoy the action. I have them set one on one off for a duration that will allow the wave to reach each side before the other switches on. Also have a rossmont m900 running in bottom rear to keep anything settling back there. The corals are all open, there are some which sway even at bottom of tank. The fish seem happy as well. I'm curious if there may be a better option though. Even though everything seems happy, I know that sometimes this can be deceiving. Thanks for any feedback [emoji4]

If you have coral swaying on the bottom without sand blowing I'd say you're good. I have the same size tank with two PP8's as well. I have mine set up so one side ramps up while the other ramps down, 65% down to 30% and up again. I don't have mine pointed up at all because the return is pointed towards the surface for water agitation. I have the sugar fine sand so I had to adjust them so they don't blow the sand around, I have it so it's just enough flow to get the detritus off the sb but not the sand.

Seems fine. I'd run each one for longer though....like a tide interval so that flow switches from one pump to the other only every few hours.
