I think I need to get a different brand phosphate test as I have trouble reading this one. Can I get an opinion on what you think this reads for my phosphates?

Id say .03ppm or 0

mate, this is just a guess but I would hazard a guess at 0.1
phosphate test kits are naturiuoslybad.
But that one looks like it was left in the Sun to fade
I gave up and bought a hanna test kit for my phosphates and could not live without it

I was thinking the same thing. I'm looking at this and thinking it's around 0.1.

I was thinking the same thing but actually saw people recommend against it elsewhere on here. You think it's worth the purchase so far?

The fact that the intensity of color is much greater than the reference makes interpretation problematic. I think that it has a touch of green and is not pure yellow. So I would say .03 - .07 and that is without confidence.

I'm with you. I need to find another way of testing my phosphates. I agree that it doesn't look like a pure yellow (0 phosphate reading).

You are right. It looks difficult to get an accurate number for that test. That’s why I use Hanna, it’s very accurate and easy to use.

Yes I do. I have every confidence it is accurate. Mine is a budget build, so I dont spend money without a lot of thought but was having trouble with phosphates greater than 1.00! There is no bit of gear that I can think of that is as more valuable to me (Hand on heart) than my Hanna phosphate ULR test kit. But DO read the instructions carefully. You will see guys on youtube opening the reagent sachet's incorectly which causes indescrepency in the amount of reagent in the test. A small thing it would seem but actually very important. Good luck mate:)
