Jebao wp25. I have one on my 33L, 48" long. It replaced 3 other powerheads in the tank and I couldn't be happier. I could not see spending hundreds on name brand wave makers when these have such great reviews. It's by far one of the best purchases I've made for my tank.
Plenty of people are using wp25s on 125s. You could get away with using just 2 and have an awesome wave and good flow. You'll find you won't be able to even turn them up all the way because it'll be too.
Personally I would go with a 40 and a 25. I have 2 25 in my 125 and I could use more. It is difficult to position them to keep from blowing sand but I still need more. I am going to wait and get 2 of the rw15.
WP40's aren't a couple bucks more either way. You can get [h=1]2 Jebao WP-25P aquarium wave maker with TWIN Dual controller for 150 bucks or less. One Vortech is 3 times that amount. [/h]
I just got 2 wp 40 for my 125gal, my tank is not set up yet will be soon. My lfs check them out for me and they move the water, I got a super price from this guy in Missouri, here is his email address [email protected] I did confirm that he does have 2 wp 40's. he said it was okay for you to email him direct. I found him on Craiglist in Joplin area he is from Saint Peters, Mo just outside St. Louis. I think you will be pleased with his price.
Just one rw 15 makes a great wave in my 30 in high glass show tank I just love the new design of the pump a lot better than the wp in my opinion thy also upgraded the controller
