Hi all. So this little guy is on day 28 of 2.0 copper power. He eats like a pig and is mostly out and about vs. hiding. He also did two full rounds of prazi because a QT tankmate had bad flukes. He's done three fresh water dips over the past month.

He's got a few little white things (above his eye in this picture) that I don't believe are ich since they've been on for two weeks and seem to be healing. Also not flukes, as they didn't come off in FW dip. I'm thinking minor bacteria and I'm keeping water super clean.

All that is left is the mystery of his stomach. Do these indentions look bad? His waste looks pretty normal - not white/stringy. So I wouldn't think it's internal parasites, and like I said - he eats like a pig. What do y'all think? I'd love to get him out of QT and into the DT.

The white spots can be a gram positive bacterial infection that pops up on tangs like yours, usually in the later stages of copper treatment.

Eating like crazy and having a sunken in stomach can be an indicator of internal parasites. Feeding General Cure + food + Focus + a pinch of epsom salts, twice daily for up to 20-30 days or until the symptoms clear.

Gotcha. I have metroplex and focus on hand. Should I start with that or wait until I can get some general cure in?

I'd start now the types of parasites that can create these symptoms respond primarily to the Metro. The prazi in the GC covers some other possible worm infestations.

Cool. I did do two rounds of Prazipro - full cycles. So hopefully anything external got nuked. I'll start feeding some metro soaked food when lights are on in the morning. Thanks.

Metro tastes horrible to some fish. Don't be surprised if it resists the food. Can hide the flavor/smell with garlic, vitamins like Selcon, Zoecon, etc.
