Was gonna upgrade to a 40 breeder. . . but could fit a 60 into the space. . . what are your thoughts on these tanks. . . I still might go with the 40 but don't want to regret it!

100% solid move , not too deep , which makes things easy to clean etc etc

Whats up josh! Bigger is always better right? If you have the space the extra water volume will help stability plus you can put a lot more frags in there :)

I used a 40 breeder for a long time before upgrading to a 120. It is still my backup and is ready to setup at a moments time if I have some kind of crash.

A 60 breeder is the sump for my 120. Dimensions of both tanks are great. I would not only think about the size but also the extra equipment and maintenance needed for the 60 vs 40.

If size doesn't matter you can get them both. 60 main and 40 for sump.
