Opinions on AI Hydra 52?

I just switched to the regular hydra from T5's yesterday. So far so good. I like it alot

Great, did you start the hydra out at a low level? If so, what percentage did you start at?
I just started running the reg Hydra also. At full strength, corals moved lower in the tank. Looks darn good too.

Awesome fixture... I came home tonight and everything looks much happier the z/p's are fully extended and happy. I followed a schedule set up by sonicboom on RC.... Set the coral acclimation to 30% less for 1 month. The thing that I really like about the fixture is that it not too over powering. It gives off the perfect amount of light. I have it set about 12-14" above the water level. It gives a perfect spread over a 24"x24" tank

Don't know bout the 52's, but I have a friend that has a 180 gal tank and has been using ecotech radions. He likes them but then looks at my tank which has the maxspect razors at half the price and he always tells me if he had to do it again he would have bought the razors in a heartbeat....A LOT of unneeded bells and whistles which he never uses and questionable leds on the radion (i.e. 'green' leds??). As far as its performance he does like, but unfortunately no better just because of the price of the unit.

Do tune up your light intensity slowly or you will bleach your coral. My bubble coral turn white when I set the hydra intensity to 45%, but switching to a lower intensity and violet the coral is slowly coming back now.
You have to slowly play around with the setting to get the best for your tank.
