Opinions on Black Sand

What do you think of SW tanks that use black sand instead of brown or white sand?

I have the same black araginite in my 175 that Mike has in his 300. From one bald guy to another, I love it. If you would like to check it out sometime let me know.

i'm actually thinking about doing black in the tank i'm getting from Dave... are there any differences besides the look? buffing the same? water chemistry the same?

I am using it in my 90 its been about a year and I can tell no diff on Chems. I will say I do like it alot.
