to the owners of jbj 40 aio’s, what are your likes/dislikes with this tank,, I’m in need of a little more room, I keep my tank simple, no dosing, no controllers, no skimmer. I’m sure most people change the original power head/pumps, what works and fits well when doing this? Thanks in advance

Maybe if I say I’m running crazy leds and controllers and a 12 port dosing system someone will chime in??????

No experience with that tank in particular but I would also consider the Innovative Marine Nuvo 40 if I was looking for an AIO in that size.

I’m sorry, I just saw I said 40, what pumps do they use, I found a used one, going to freshen it up before I switch my 28 into it

I am in the process of putting my JBJ45 Rimless back up. I loved it when it was running.
Do you have any pics when it was up?, how was the flow? I’m guessing I’ll need some new power heads, I run 2 maxi 1200’s and 2 rio 70’s on my 28

That’s the kind of room I need, I sold off around 100 heads of frogspawn, now the remaining heads are getting huge again, they block light to my blasto

I had the JBJ 45RL for a while an really liked it. Upgrading the stock pumps is a must! The stock pumps sounded like they were grinding rocks all day everyday. Switched to 2 Sicce 1.5's and it was smooth sailing from there.
