I'm tired of having Kalk in my ATO reservoir and am thinking about getting a Kalk stirrer. I looked around today and seems that there are2 types. The stirring wand and the up flow. Any opinions?

Love them - I have been running the Avast Marine K2 for two years now and it has been amazing at keeping my tank healthy with stable alk, ca, and PH. BTW it is the stirring wand. Check it out on their website. you can save a few bucks gluing it together yourself!

I have a Geo reactor( up flow design ) and love it

I have a TLF Kalk reactor on my 90g. I have it run 4 times at night for 1min (dripping) at a time. My ph, ca, and alk are always spot on. Every 3 weeks I take it out and empty it. Then replenish with 1 cup of fresh kalk. I love it.

I run a dosing pump and use a timer on a small air pump and bubble a few minutes a day at a slow bubble rate to keep it mixed. I now run slow bubbles in all my dose bottles for 15 minutes several times a day. I use the smallest air pump I could find and a bank of air valves. I dose five products.

Interesting Idea!

I just mix mine by hand and put in my ato. My parameters are usually spot on.
