Hey guys, any of you ever use NeoPlex? Got opinions on it #reefsquad @melypr1985 @Humblefish It is what I had on hand to treat some, fin rot/cloudy eye/skin lesions.

i have personally never used it, i am sure someone else will chime in but from what i read its a brad spectrum antibiotic which in my experience in past will take out beneficial bacteria although Seachem claims it doesnt.

It's the same active ingredient as neosporin. Helpful with external injuries/infections, but maybe not a strong enough punch for serious infections.

It's worth a try if it's all you have on hand. Kanaplex is more of a wide-spectrum antibiotic.

I've never used it either. I've always gone with the more broad spectrum options. I'm sure you could dose it at the same time as prazi though. Just add extra o2 to the water and watch for a bacterial bloom.

How about BiFuran?

That product contains nitrofurazone and furazolidone, two very useful antibiotics for treating SW fish. :)

Can you dose prazipro at the same time as the neoplex?

Prazipro is the one medication I don't like mixing with any other drug, expect maybe copper. It contains Oxybispropanol which sometimes causes negative interactions, bacterial blooms, etc.
