We are very new to the saltwater tank hobby and with every coral we bought tried to educate ourselves on placements for them. We would love opinions on whether they are placed ok or not. So please do not hesitate to criticize, it's the only way we will learn.

IMHO you have the right idea. And I believe that corals actually acclimate quite well over time to various light intensity. Do you know the PAR levels in your tank?

I do not have the par levels. That is my next purchase. I have a coralife 48-54 led seascape light, if that helps. It is about 6 inches above the water level. I'm happy to hear that we are on the right track!

looks pretty good. But how close is that green slimmer and Duncan? Duncan’s don’t have a hard sting but mine wins the battle agains the acros near it.

It looks great but .
personally I’d move the Duncan’s away from the slimer , pocillipora and mushroom I’d move knowing similar to the green star polyps , they will spread and take over that rock .

The dunkin is about Inches away. I can move it though. I'll also move the pocillipora also. Maybe get another rock.
