Opinions on the Ecotech vectra S2?

I'm considering this pump for my 100 gallon. I figure I can get around 400 GPH running it at 50% with 4 ft of head. Does that seem likely? Is this a good pump? Thx

What percent do you run it at and what GPH do you think you get? I want to get about 500 and don't want to run it more then 70%

I have it set at about 40%.
I haven't really tried to figure it out.
I balanced the amount of flow with my herbie drain until it was dead silent.

On a 100 gallon tank, I would be tempted to get a M2.
I think I saw the S2 was discontinued?

Thanks...I'm not using it for anything else. I just wish I could know what the head loss is I could decide. The S2 would probably also last longer on a battery backup and it's cheaper lol

How many gph does your system recommend?

I run an S2 on my 65gal it runs about 4 feet up. I run it at 4% (mostly due to poor drains) if I go over 4% it out performs my drain. It’s a solid pump super quiet and the times it’s been ramped up it still pushes a lot of water
