Opinions on triggers in a reef

I see nigers in a lot of reef tanks , then read they are not in one place then read zoopkankton eaters in another ? I really love them though like to get one but still on the fence!

The blue throats and crosshatches work with caution. I have seen lots of success stories.

I think niger trigs are beautiful thats the one i really want

I had some corallimorphs and zoas in with my triggers, Niger being one of then...never bothered those but I have seen them rampage in an SPS tank.

I had a Niger in my reef for awhile and although it didn't bother any coral, as it grew it became more aggressive to tankmates...

I had a smaller Niger at one time and it was fine. That being said my local friend had one and it was fine till it grew bigger. Then it bullied other fish to death.

I had a crosshatch pair. They got real nasty and started killing small fish and eating them. They were also well fed.

I think there may be a lot better choices for a reef tank.

I have 2 humu triggers and 1 niger they don't bother anything unless you forget to feed them
