Opinons of fish list

Thoughts on my fish list appreciated. I want mostly utilitarian fish in a variety of colors that occupy all areas of the tank. 90 gallon, 3' x 2' x 2' with a 15 gallon sump (Cade PR 900).

1st addition: pair of clowns (i like picasso or da vinci)

2nd addition: aiptasia eating file fish, yellow coris wrasse and golden rhomboid wrasse (or red velvet wrasse)

3rd addition: white tail kole tang, 3 ignitus anthias, blue spotted jawfish

4th addition: mandarin dragonet

That’s a great list, all of those fish should get along. If you need any suggestions just ask, stocking tanks is a lot of fun.

Sounds like a good stocking plan.

Only things I'd say are the File fish can nip at corals if preferred food isn't available (probably lot of folks have them with no issues - just a species comment).

Also on the mandarin - lovely fish, but I'm sure you've read they can picky eaters and would be most successful after tank matures with a stable population of pods. Of course, if you're getting from a place that you can see it's eating commercial foods great - make you actually SEE that, and you can always buy pods for feeding (but think most success is with self-sustaining pod population).

The blue spot Jawfish is more of a temperate fish.

I wouldn't do the tang in a 3' tank. I'm sure others will disagree

Yea my plan was to add mandarin down the line around the one year mark once tank is matured. Or at the very least get a captive bred specimen readily eating prepared foods.
