Do i need to know the exact type of led i have to put optics on them . i have a Chinese fixture and am not sure what
chips are used from what i read the blue are brigilux and the whites are semiled

Its possible you can toss on a generic optic and focus the light better.

Generally Optics are designed with a specif LED in mind to increase efficiency.

If you have a generic Chinese fixture like an Eshine, Cidly or one of many others, it may be best to keep it as is. They go the distance to keep costs down and often use adequate optics to optimize their fixture performance.
