Hi everyone. I bought an optical level sensor to install in my 2 part reservoirs and be notified when they are running low. However, upon opening the box I noticed that the magnetic holder is rubber padded so I wonder if it is safe to have it permanently submerged in highly caustic Alk solution...? Will it not dissolve the rubber, expose the magnet and contaminate the dosing solution? Your views are appreciated.
