Hi Guys/Gals,

Traditionally I connected my RO unit via a washing machine valve Y splitter, then with the 3/4" to 1/4" push fitting adapter for the RO and the remainder outlet to the washing machine hose.
I was wondering if there was a cleaner solution like a 3/4" bypass fitting that would have a 1/4" male threaded outlet in the center.
I searched every which way on google and came out zilch.

TIA

If you can get directly to the water line, I used this Sharkbite fitting, pic below. May have better luck searching for “ice maker water connection fitting”. The broad term for these are push fitting just like the plastic ones for RO and ATO but larger. Before buying make sure what size and kind of pipe you have so that you verify that’ll work for your piping. There are several kinds of plastic pipes used (PVC, Pex, Qest, CPVC) should have the info written on the pipe. A plumbing wholesale supply store maybe a better option to get the parts as well, take a pic or two of the piping and the connection point you want to connect to and they can help you figure out what/how to connect the easiest and cleanest.
