My husband noticed the slightly iridescent orange areas on the fins of our ORA black and white female clown a few weeks ago. She is about 6 1/2 - 7 years old now. Has anyone ever seen this before? No coloration on our male who is the same age. Sorry for the fuzzy pic - she doesn't stay still very long.

Can you only see the orange when the light hits the fish a certain way, or when light passes through the fins?

I think that looks awesome and congrats on keeping your ORA fish for so long!

No. It's actually visible all the time. It does get brighter though when she goes up towards the light. It definitely is different!

Thanks for the kudos for keeping them so long!

Looks like her inner nemo is coming out. Somewhere along the line their was an orange clown in the family.
