ora Pearlberry or a tenuis

hey guys im pritty sure this coral is 100% not a ora pearlberry anyone else wanna post their opinion?

I think you are correct, I would guess it is a Tenuis.

not a pearlberry but a beautiful piece either way where did you get it from? do you have any other pictures of it in more white light?

+1 on the tenuis ID, I'm not sure how to describe the different between the two growth... but here's what a ORA pearlberry will look like

Agreed def not a pearl berry that's one of my favorite... I do like the one pictured thou it's very nice..

+1 to the not a pearlberry-just a different growth structure, and even the corallite structure bears a slight difference.

Like others said though, not being a pearlberry isn't holding it back from being a really nice looking acro.

Possibly because the OP cannot express himself effectively in the English language, I don't know what he's trying to accomplish. What are you, like 15 years old?

The coral was acquired from ORA's tank at MACNA in Atlanta as Pearlberry. Is it another ORA coral? I don't know, but I've always called it pearlberry and this is how it grows in my tank. The photos that are very blue mostly just reflect my poor skills as a photographer.

Here's a piece of the same coral growing under stronger light (higher up).

Here it is when I first got it in 2008. My phosphates were pretty high so it's brown...

Here's a later picture when it was looking better:

SO if it's not ORA Pearlberry, it's from ORA, on an ORA plug, anybody want to hazard a guess? Does it matter at all?

No disrespect Jim,just trying to keep it lite and not trying to offend anyone,sorry if my post did that.Your coral(very nice) looks like a Joe the coral or possibly the Borealis,which are both tenius like in growth.The PB is possibly a plana or another tabling acro and the tenius acros are usually stags.ID is not an accurate science when labeled by us hobbyists but a good guess is all I can offer.

It could be the ORA roscoes acro,that is my best guess since you say it was on an Ora plug and acquired from ORA at MACNA.Either way it's a nice coral for sure and I imagine it is very deep blue at the tips.
