Ora red planet

I was recently told by other fellow R2R members its a Tenuis. I'm still confused.o_O

Ok thanks . Want to know were I should be placing this coral in my tank. I have a 150 gyre and w 6055 tunze just wanna make sure I place it correctly

The coralites kind of look like a tenius, but it's colony formation certainly doesn't. I have heard more speculation on it being a hyacinthus than anything else.

That's what I've been reading but no one seems to know really it seems.

Near the top of that tank in 350+PAR strong alternating flow. When it gets bigger it will shade out anything you place under it, so you might want to keep that in mind.

I have 8x54 tek fixture
T5 is certainly the way to go. High to medium placement in the tank is good once acclimated. My RP is about 14in from my ATI T5/Kessil combo. Has a nice red to it with green base.

This is its current placement you can see it just above the orange monti

I don't think you will find anything definitive most speculation is hyacinthus or anthocercis but it's all speculation. I would guess the latter, but it is only a guess.

It was red but now has turned pink no green though.about 12" down

From my experience Red Planet seems to like slightly higher No3. As for turning pink it could be adjusting to your tank/lighting. Do you know what the lighting/parameters were at in its previous environment?

No I'm not about its previous lighting but it seems to really like we're its placed growing quickly.
