Okay everyone, let me just start by saying I fell for the trap and didn’t do enough research. I just read that they would eat frozen food and pellets and assumed I’d have no issues. I ordered a ORA spotted mandarin and he flourished like no other in the beginning. He came in so so tiny and tripled in sz. I started to dose microbacter7 and run my protein skimmer 24/7 when I started to get a little bit of a dyno problem and boom, I lost like half or 3/4 of my chaeto... suddenly my pods went from being everywhere on everything to hardly noticeable, and now I notice my goby isn’t coming out hardly at all. NOW I’m in full blown panic mode. By LFS don’t carry pods, I’m going to have some overnighted to me but now it’s too late to get them in time from algae barn or live Aquaria. Can someone please help me, is it too late to save the little guy? dang I hate losing pets, ITS THE WORST!

Brine shrimp take 2-3 days to hatch.

I think pods take a couple weeks for their population to bloom, and that's in a bucket with no predators. Could be wrong.

I just unhatched some for the first time. I got decapsulated eggs from Algae barn. I highly recommend them as they were very fast (2 days CO to CA), and that was just the free shipping over $40. I started them at 3:30pm yesterday and a majority seemed to hatch around noon today. Highly impressed with the quality of their products though so far.

Nice. I guess I forgot how much faster it is with heat and circulation. I started using a hatchery dish that requires neither, but they take a bit longer.
