Orange back Wrasse sick or getting bullied ?

Got a new orange back Wrasse and didn't see him for a week. Today he's out but looks like crap. His left side is all messed up but it's really hard to get a good look at because of how he's sitting on my mag cleaner. He's eating and I don't see anyone going after him anymore but when I first put him in my percula went nuts and beat the crap out of him and he put himself under a rock and didn't come out for about a week.

I can’t see any definite injury or issue, patterns in these guys are “sloppy” and often appear as if they’re missing scales.

At this point I would add selcon to the food and keep water quality high.

If the clown continues to bully the wrasse you’ll need to choose between them.

It does look to me as though he got an overly warm (heated, even!) reception from the clowns, and went into hiding for a while as a result. I don't see any infection there, so the injuries should heal on their own - but keep an eye on him. The scars will fade.
