Greetings fellow reef keepers. This is my first post on the forums after a good year or so of reading. Thank you all for the knowledge you have helped me gain!

I recently got an influx of a small (smaller than an eraser on a pencil but easily visible to the naked eye) creatures in my 180 gallon reef tank. They are in the sump (mainly on the plants/algae in the refugium portion) and also seem to cluster together on specific rocks in the display tank. There is one group on the sand bed as well. I noticed some on the glass so I tried to get a good picture. They move like a worm/slug, they are very slow but you can see them move their "head" around pretty easily. The shape of their body reminds me of a trash bag in that it seems to be open on the front end? Hopefully this is all making sense to somebody!

I haven't seen them bother/get on any of my corals yet. I've got about 20 frags in the tank, mostly Zoes but I do have two birds nests and two purple acros, everyone seems to be doing great. About 20 fish total, none of them seem to be bothered either. Tank has been running for about 6 months now, have around 200 pounds of live rock as well, purchased from Tampa live rock. Can't really think of any other information that would be needed. I am just hoping to identify them so that I can see about keeping their population in check or disposing of them if they are bad. I do not have any wrasse in the tank so maybe it is a creature that they would consume?

Thank you to anyone able to help!

They appear to be these guys:
Rust Brown Flatworm (Convolutriloba retrogemma)
Wrasses would absolutely munch them out of existence.

+1 Flatworms

You might want to get some airline tubing and siphon them out one by one. These Flatworms in particular are not necessarily bad, but the birth rate is through the roof. Sooner or later they're everywhere... Very unsightly. GL.

You guys are awesome. That looks exactly like what I have. Thanks for the quick responses. I'm going to syphon out as much as I can with air line tubing and look at getting a wrasse or two once I finish researching which species I want. Much appreciated!

How long does it take for these to get out of control? I've noticed a few super tiny ones on my glass this morning. I'm in a fallow so I can't add a wrasse at the moment.

I'm going to try to siphon them out as I can. I also ordered flatworm Ex.
