Orange Circle Algae ?????

I have these orange circles of what I think is algae growing on my over flow and slowing spreading to some rocks for the past few months.


Does anyone know what it is ?

I have had some of that grow in a previous tank and it got to be a nuisance, scrape it off and get rid of it before it proliferates. Nothing dangerous just a macroalgael pain.

It actually may be lobophora.

It is lobophora IMO, also called brown wafer algae. I had it in my DT in the past, it will over time cover all your rockwork. A naso tang will eat it and get rid of all of it.

Looks like peyssonnelia... either way its deff a calcareous algae.
