Orange filter Lens for cannon camera??

Adjusting white balance helps to a certain degree, but if you have your lights set to 100% blue, your photos will still have a blueish hue even with white balance set as high as it can go on the camera. Ideally you should set the white balance on the camera in conjunction with adjusting the aquarium light spectrum if possible. I have Radions and just turn up the white channels a bit when shooting photos.

The highest white balance setting my Nikon D610 can use is 10K. With that setting, the photos still have a little bit of a blue hue, so I also adjust my Radion lights to set the Warm White and Cool White channels up to 100%. Between the camera setting and the Radion setting, the coral colors look very accurate.

I have nikon 55mm lens. Bought 55mm filters and they don’t screw on(obviously same sit). What size filters do i need?

So your focal length is 55m your filter lens im going to guess is 58mm. Find your lens on best buy and see what size filter it takes. If its the 18-55mm it should take the 55mm filter

Thank you for reply. I just checked and The kit I bought (shown in box)…. has the same threads as the len, so I am guessing, I need the next smallest size that will fit the threads of the lens (Not sure what that size would be?? )

All Nikon lenses show the filter diameter on the side of the lens. Look for the circle with a slash (indicating diameter) followed by a number. In my example, 67 mm:

Ah there you go. I use canon so I did not know this.
