So almost a month ago I added a coral beauty and a fire goby to my tank. The coral beauty has always out swimming. But The fire goby immediately went into hiding and has never come out.. I'm wondering if it's safe to say he is dead, and wondering if I need to tear apart the tank to find him.

I have 10-12" snowflake eel in the tank but he has never struck any of the other fish.

They are very good hiders. Have you not seen it in a month?

I had one hide for about a week, by the time it came out and I was able to section it off from my vulturous cleaner shrimp, it was so malnourished that it simply died of starvation about a week later.

That said, they usually do hide for a couple days after adding them into the tank. To ease my new additions, I have a mix of brine, enriched brine and mysis shrimp which I feed for several days after adding them. While in quarantine, I feed this mix for the first week, then ease them onto my daily food by the end of their QT. That way they get a nice 'treat' for a few days after they are in the display tank, and they are fairly comfortable eating the daily food after that.

Yes I haven't seen him in a month..

Should I pull apart my rock work and try to find what's left? I'm hoping I don't need to worry about it. Tank is doing fine, 20% water changes every two weeks. Ive been dealing with algae out breaks but in the last three its all disappearing. Tank is about 4 months old.

Leave it as is.
The Goby will be not find anymore.
If tank is doing great and test results are there and other fish are healthy you could try another one.
Maybe start thinking about a QT and go forward on that.

A firefish will have been cleaned up by cuc and pods very quickly, close to overnight. Don't worry about looking for remains.
