Hi all,
I'm looking for some info on the "Orange Ghost Nudibranch". the only info I can find online is here:

my tank has them EVERYWHERE now! they are not bothering anything currently, but I'm afraid the lack of a natural predator will get them multiplying and thus damaging the ecosystem!
currently, I have a mandarine dragonette and an Exquisite Wrasse that show no interest in eating them what so ever!
What would nip on those guys?
Has anyone experienced their presence in a reef tank?
anything I should consider while dealing with them?
thanks in advance!

If your able to spot them easily then siphoning them out with some airline tubing shouldn't be a problem. Do this for 3 or 4 days in a row and you should be able to put a significant dent in the population.

Thanks for your suggestion.
It's a way to decrease population indeed! But I'm not sure I should treat the presence rather than the existence of it.
Also, keep doing this every month or so is kind of exhausting no?
Have you had them before? do you know if they harm anything?

More than likely they'll deplete their food source and die off on their own. Nudibranchs have extremely specific diets, so once their food source is gone, they'll just just starve. Siphoning them regularly will help keep the population smaller, so a mass die off doesn't wipe out the tank...

Good idea!

I've never had them before, (they look kind of like Elysia though) but if it is indeed a problem why not do the work yourself? Are water changes exhausting? (among other chores) Same thing IMO. It basically just boils down to whether you want them or not. You will always be much more efficient at removing "things" in your tank than anything else will be. Your GOD. ;) GL.
