Don’t think he’s shedding....looks like he’s turning white.
24 hours is a really short time for this to happen.
Please post your water parameters and how you acclimated him.

Acclimated by doing a little bit of water mixing over a period of an hr then put him in the tank. Water I'm omw home from work and going to test wasnt like thar when I left this morning.

I believe exposure to air will turn them white and later like powder in a short period of time....
Was it exposed to air ?
Yes but the red one I have is ok I was face timing my wife and she did it. I'm not forsure if it was exposed to air. Good possibility thouff

Those are nps corals. They dont rely on light. They need nutrients they filter from the water column. Your tank looks brand new. How long has it been running? Nps corals are difficult to say the least. But extreemtly extremely hard to keep in a new system that doesn't have any phytoplankton and zooplankton in the water column. I have both an orange and a red in my system for about 6 months now. My orange half died on me but is now finally making a come back, low light, moderate flow and direct feedings helped.

Tank is like 2 months old. I got it cheap so I gave it a try. Is there anyway to save it?

By the looks of it it's already gone. Od be surprised if there's anything left in the morning. Since your tank is so new, meaning the umbilical cord is still wet, lol. I'd maybe start with something simple like a green star polyp. Do you have anything in your tank yet? Fish wise? Have you been testing the water? All good things to know before you start adding coral.

I have 2 clowns in tank 4 weeks and 2 damsels along with crabs and scallops and star fish. Family member gave them to me he got rid of his tank

Do you actually test? Or does the LFS test your water? Anyway like I said earlier NPS (non photosynthetic) corals are extremely hard to care for, especially in a new tank... clove polyps, start polyps some leathers are easier to care for.

I do have a few polyps also in the tank and I test personally atleast omce a week if not 2 times a week or more.

Oh good. Sometimes when people say things are good. You dont know if they're testing or just being told. The zoas are good to start with too. Welcome and good luck with the tank.

That thing was dead before you put it in your tank.. these require a very mature and stable tank (1year old minimum) along with frequent feedings of appropriate foods to have any chance of survival. It’s very important to research everything you want to put into your tank before doing so.

I have 2 in my reef. At first they didn't do so great bc of the lighting being too strong. So o moved them to the back where the lighting is shaded. I direct feed 2x a week and they get fed when I feed the fish daily.
