The orange colored hammer to the left wont open anymore than the photo shows. Anyone have any advice or tips or a better spot to place it?

Yes we got it at Space Coast conference in melbourne... its not sunk in but it's not all happy like others... :/ I love it and want it to open

Well at the show it was open and all of our other types of frogs and hammers are happy.. we tried moving it and lighting... I just dont wanna lose it..

Low light and low flow, allow it to adjust to your tank and then try slow moving it where you want it and watch how it reacts. GL, I know the orange ones seem hard to keep even for those experienced reefers.

Yeah :/ ive lost an aussie orang frogspawn before. Had for couple months and in less than a week right when we got our tomini tang it died completely so quick..:( thank you! I will try to find a lower lit spot for it... its un low flow now..moved last night a lil

Just be sure to watch the base tissue. As long as it's nice, thick, and attached it should be fine. My friend had a new yellow hammer (it was crazy yellow!) and it was upset for a few weeks before opening back up. Try to give it that gentle breeze type of flow that will just carry the tentacles.

Okay thanks :) and yellow!? Must have been sweet..id like to see that...and have one lol... rainbow ones are tight
