When we put on these orange glasses under blue LEDS the corals pop like crazy

I was thinking if this is the case why don't LED fixtures have orange leds in them and in combination with the blue leds, the tank will pop even without needing these glasses

Pic for attention using orange filters

An orange lens is really a blue filter - this allows the camera to balance the other colors so they are more pronounced as blue overwhelms the balance of the camera (or your eye). Orange light is a combination of Yellow and red - and yellow is combination of red and green light. So orange is a secondary color combination of lots of red and little green. You can try it out with your LEDs and see . But some of the coral pop is fluorescence, defined as absorbing light in 1 wavelength and emitting light on another wavelength. Usually the blue and UV band are need for this to occur. So the orange light pics will have no pop.
