Orange Line

On my screen I see an orange line just above the R2R menu line. There is a arrow on this line with numbers in it. In my case it reads 10. What is this and why is it on the page?

Mine too. It is next to Showcase but don't know what it is. I never click it.
However, I really like the answer that it is orange algae, only to be found on R2R. It's a good algae.

So it's not the Showcase then?

edit: Reread your post and if it's to the right of the Showcase button, that's for the Showcase. It's a database for saltwater aquarium stores where you can leave feedback, click the link I posted above for more in-depth information.

In a previous thread it was determined that it has something to do with vendors in the showcase......new posts by vendors possibly? I can't remember.

It appears that you're correct. If I click on the Showcase button and then click on "view unread", there are exactly that number of new showcase listings there. If you click on one, the number on your orange drops by one. Nice to know
