Orange Lined Cardinalfish - Anyone have experience with these?

Hello,

I am starting to seriously consider a school of 3 or 5 Orange Lined Cardinalfish and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these fish? I am wondering if I purchase 5 of them if they will stick together in my tank, at least to a certain degree. I would hate to get 5 of them and have each of them scattered throughout my tank.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

they will when you first put them in the tank. more like a stregnth in numbers thing and then they may scatter or stick together depending on how aggressive their tank mates are. like most cardinals, they're not crazy active like the blue/green chromis

I don't have any experience in this aspect, but i like them. i am sorry, can't help you.

i had a few and then a few more. school of 6 at one time. there like chromis, school at first then chase each other out of the tank one by one. my last one died due to anthias chasing it our of tank.

Yeah if they are like chromis I think I may pass on them... I didn't have much luck with my school of chromis who killed each other over the course of a couple weeks.
