Just set up a tub to breed aptasia for my nudis a couple of days ago. Ever since it’s been growing this orange stuff and now it’s completely covered everything. Picture below.
The setup is just a light set low and a heater (80F) , with an air pump on the way. There are some live rock from another tank that has aptasia on it.
I am wondering what this stuff is and if this is going to be a problem. Haven’t tested the water parameters. Initial googling has me thinking it’s some sort of algae bloom in a new tank setup. Any help is appreciated.
