Hey guys,

I picked up a nice piece of pavona last night, I'd like some help identifying. It's bright orange/yellow with a deep green rim. I have attached pics which don't do it justice because my day lights are on right now. This is my first pavona so any tips are appreciated. From what I understand they like high light and high flow. They had it under a hydra, about 10" down which is exactly where it sits in my tank right now under the same light.

That's not Pavona but Psammocora. Treat it like an LPS; low-medium light, low-medium flow.

You are correct my friend! I figured out its a TSG watermelon Psammacora. I went back to that lfs yesterday and he said it wasn't a pavona but he didn't know what it was. Paid $25 bucks, can't complain. I guess I need to move it down a bit!
