Added to display 3 days ago. Fish went through 30 days of copper power followed by 2 rounds of prazi and a FW dip to confirm no flukes. The fish was in a 20 Gallon QT and spent the entire time in camo colors and breathing heavy. I had some water quality issues with bacterial blooms but no ammonia. I assumed the fish was stressed out in the QT and adding to display was the right move since everythig was essentially treated for. The fish is still breathing rapidly although and no longer in its camo colors. I cant figure out though why the breathing is still like this. Thinking it's either stress related or possibly some type of gill burn. This fish is also beyond skittish. It will not swim around while someone is near the tank.

Being one who doesn't use medicines in QT unless there is a disease, I wouldn't know for sure, but, I have been told in the past that Rabbitfish are sensitive to meds.

I had a gold spot for years in a 180. Before that he was in a 75 for 3 months and never was colored right or bold at all. Moved him to the big tank and in a couple days he was great.

Do you think its breathing looks normal or similar to when you first moved the fish into the 180?

More of the same today. Really regretting adding this fish to my display.
