Orange spotted filefish - anyone have any luck...?

IMO - They can be adapted to eating frozen artemia and mysis - but it takes a long, long time.. I have seen this a couple of times but it demand a very good source of coral polyps for the first 2-5 months otherwise it will starve to death.

We had two of those in a 10000L reef tank at my work. They did great for three years, then when we started a rebuilding and we had to move them.
In the large tank they ate Acropora, Seriatopora and Stylophora. Never saw them chase any frozen food. They had enough corals to eat
I was afraid they would go hard on the one Acropora millepora colony we had in that tank, but they grazed all over the tank and never really stressed any particular colony.

I was at World Wide Corals one day and they had one. It was obviously flourishing: brightly colored, alert, confident, plump. It was also in a large tank packed with acropora corals. The corals looked fine so I figured it must have lightly grazed on the corals. The corals just shrugged off the grazing.
