New reefer here, 2 month old tank and I've had this thing forming over a couple weeks that initially I thought was a sponge based on its looks but not that it's larger and spread to a few other spots on the glass infront of a powerhead It's seemingly stretching out and starting to see its hair like structure. Looks like clumped hair. Any ideas?

Looks like a spaghetti or serpulid worm. They're scavengers and ubiquitous to reef systems.

Spaghetti worm but odd location for it as they generally bnurrow in sand or rocks
