Sweet!!i do like the idea of swapping colors through the day to see which I want!
It really is the best way to go because there is no silver bullet when it comes to gel filters. Each situation (depending on your lights and settings) requires a different filter to sort out the correct amount of blues. That way you can dial in to your tank then buy more of that one.

Photo filters came in!
I don’t see a yellow color that pops coral colors like the yellow safety glasses but these are the ones I like so far. I’ll mess with them during different photo periods and see which direction I want to go. Maybe a month till I makeup my mind.

Pictures look darker than in person, just fyi

Last two pics are no filters & yellow safety glasses.

Did you try stacking a couple of colors to see if any combos do what you want/need?

I did. Had to update pics slowly for some reason.
I just realized the pics of the filter colors are not showing true colors either. There’s a white sheet behind them with info and the white makes the film look deeper than it really is.
I’ll update the thread with same filters at different photo periods.

This orangeish yellow is my favorite with all blues!

Awesome! I think I need one of those small samplers for my webcam! My tank is behind my desk in my office, so everyone gets a nice view during video calls, BUT, they always get the washed out blues. I'll have to cut a small piece of that off and tape it to the webcam!

Me too!

What your looking for is exactly what a few have posted. In the Film world we call them Gels and we use them to color correct lights for any type of photography. You can order the Gels from any place like B and H photo. Sammys camera etc. In general CTO is what you need and they come in 1/4 1/2 3/4 or full and they are just grades or color..1/4 being 1/4 orange and Full being full orange. This is the exact same thing as what Orpek is.

Save yourself the hassle and get a brown filter. Thank me later

He got a sample pack of swatches to see which color worked best for what he wanted. He liked Straw and Light Straw the best

Bump so I decided to do a little trail run to see if I like it 1st pic is my fresh settings on so I can actually take a photo 2nd and 3rd is my full daytime and full night time setting with #11 straw tint 82 I personally like it, but I would personally only like one side due to the fact that I have grown accustomed to the regular look without the tint
