Lets hear everyone's experience with these gorgeous and underrated fish.

(not my pic)

Mine is the most active fish in the tank, eats nori, pellets, and frozen food. Mine enjoys ripping the nori off the sheet, but then barely eats any, letting it float away...what a pain :) Mine seems to be very hardy as well. He easily survived an ich breakout which never even slowed him down.

I got mine when he was tiny, maybe 1.5 inches from LiveAquaria Divers Den. Back then, he didn't have an orange shoulder, just a tiny speck where the orange should be, haha. Just in the last 5 months, he's completely changed, but still has a yellow tint to him.
Pics to come soon

I have one. Very active fish. As juveniles they are greenish, and change to the grey color when they get older. They aren't much of a rock picker. It loves nori and pellets. I do feed mysis or spirulina brine and it eats those as well. Gets along with my other tangs.

I went to the Newport Aquarium today (KY) and they had some of the most gorgeous Orangeshoulders I've seen. Some of them were HUGE, displaying a different shaped head than the one above. It was more rounded like a Unicorn tang sort of. A few of them were sporting 2-3 inch streamers as well.

Has anybody kept more than just one in the tank? Anybody try to put a juvenile in with an adult to try to pair them? I saw a few of them hanging out together at the aquarium today and thought that would be awesome to have. These tangs have been one of my favorites and I"m excited that I finally have a big enough tank to keep one comfortable.

Where are the pics? I've always liked these but don't have a big enough tank, maybe in the future.

Here is my progression pic I did a few months back...
