Hello everyone,
I have a 65 gallon mostly softy tank with the current USA marine pro dual lights. (Yes, I know). My tank has been running for 16 months. My problem is that the app has to be frequently deleted and downloaded again because it stops responding. Today, my main pump, current USA 2100GPH eFlux stopped working. It is 7 months old. I have taken it apart twice. It runs for about 10 minutes and just stops.
My question is, since my lights and pumps plug into a hub that is controlled by this Loop app, do I have to replace everything to solve this? Lights, pumps, controller? This sounds really expensive. (Again, yes, I know) I am wondering if anyone has advice for the least expensive way to run lights and a wave pump. I have only used the marine pro to control everything. I am not able to spend $600 on lighting, so I would love to know of any suggestions.
By the way, with my current lighting, I am seeing coral growth, but colors aren’t fabulous. I have Duncans, frogspawn, zinnia, zoas, and two small digitata.
