So, I've got a good sump, skimmer and test kit from different recommendations from you all on here. And pretty much learned everything I know about saltwater from here as well.
Now, I was wondering if anyone has used the orbit marine complete setup? Or any of the individual systems by them? I was looking at a complete system by OM and it comes with dual lights, dual wavemaker/powerhead things, a return pump and two light mounts. And various controllers. Are any of these any good? Does anyone have any experience with them? I mean I really want to have a full on reef tank, but I don't wanna risk anything failing on me because of my cheaper equipment lol and $50 corals die and make things messy . Here's the link of the orbit marine stuff

I can’t speak for the lights, but I would take a look at what par they give off and if it can grow the corals you wanted. I opted out of these based on the reviews and went with lights that are more known for growing corals.

I can speak for the wave maker and return pump, they are aweosme. Super super quiet. I can’t hear them at all. I have 1 of the largest Wavemaker and on wave mode it splashes water out of my tank. I only run it between 30 and 50%.

Okay awesome! I'll have to research the lights a little more.
While I'm here, I have a maroon clown .she seems to like "host" my return pipe things in my tank. But when I'm around or getting ready to feed she quickly comes out and swims around everywhere. Eats. And then goes back to her spot. Is this normal behavior? Would more fish make her more active?

Clowns are weird. I have 2 Darwin misbars and they are either found hosting the back corners of the tank or halfway up my overflow. The 2 of them do swim around a lot when I am around. Maroons can be very temperamental. I had one years ago that didn’t let me add another fish to the tank, he acted like the whole tank was his turf and he wasn’t afraid of anyone.

I use the Orbit Marine Pro light and it grows everything I want...... but my tank is very shallow.

There should be a chart online that shows what it will grow and at what depths.

Hmm.. well hopefully mine will be a little more tolerant :p

I think that was the reason I steered away as I have a 30’imch deep tank.

My tank is only 18" deep. Do you think they would be decent for that? Or would a different light be a better choice?

If that’s really the par per their website I wouldn’t see any reason why you would have issues.
