Been working crazy hours the last week or so and I have not had much of a chance to see it with the lights on. Noticed this today....

Eating great like usual and seem to be acting normally. No recent additions. Everyone else is happy and health and also eating fine. Corals unaffected.

Hes a fast bugger and darn near impossible to get a decent picture of....

Looks like lympho is it sticking out and what is its texture?

I thought so, just wasnt sure it actually was lympho, never delt with it before.

Had him 2.5 - 3 years.

Any update on this? I seem to be experiencing the same thing with my dottyback. Did you just leave him be and he recovered?

I up'd my feedings a bit to ensure he was staying full and was rotating through several frozen foods as well as chromaboost pellets to ensure a more varied diet. He had some pretty reclusive days (even for this weirdo of a fish) and some normal ones. Eventually after a few months he looks normal again. It would get better and worse back and forth and the sore/spots would go away and come back on another fin.

He got more of his normal deeper purple color back and is back to harassing everyone again, lol.

I suspect this won't be the last of it as they say lympho never really goes away and the fish carries it for life. But we have stayed on the varied diet and keep water parameters on point to help him stay healthy. Hopefully if it comes back it won't be as bad or stick around as long. Keeping them healthy and their immune system in tip top shape appears to be all you can do for lympho.

Good luck!
