I have my first quarantine tank set up with 3 fish in it (allens damsel, royal gramma, midas blenny) for the last 2 weeks. Ammonia was a little high the first few days, so I added prime. I have since done a 50% water change and ammonia has been 0 ppm on my ammo alert badge and my red sea ammonia test.

I want to do a course of prazi pro and a course of Chloroquine Phophate, and have some questions that I am hoping more experienced reefers can help me with:

1) Do I need to worry about the prime I added 10 days ago? If so, what do I need to do to remove it?

2) What order should I do the prazi and CP in?

3) What do I need to do between meds to make sure they don't mix?

Any threads, resources, or advice is greatly appreciated.

Prime that was added 10 days ago should not create any problems.

Personally I would use CP first as it wipes out things that are much more serious. Then move to prazi.

After CP is finished I would do a 100% water change. Then move to prazi.

Ok thanks. Never done 100% water change... I guess thats another thing to read up on!

Very simple. Siphon tank water into a 5 gallon bucket. Net the fish into bucket. Change tank water. Net fish back into tank.

I would remove the rocks from the qt as well since there is no way to test for CP and you won't know if any or how much would get absorbed by them.
If I took out all the rock, all I would have left is a sponge filter that has been in my DT for 1 week then in the QT with 10 lbs of liverock for 2 weeks. Do you think it will have established enough of a biofilter to support 3 fish?

I also have biospira that I could add into the sponge...
