Nearly ready to add fish to my reefer 250l. My list of fish is.
Flame angel
Flame hawkfish
Blue damsel ? 1 or more
Algae blenny

Any advice on order to add them to tank when it’s finished cycling.
Also am I best to have 1 or more damsel.

Thanks Tony

If the blue damsel is C. cyanea I would definitely add it last or even better consider a less aggressive damsel like C. hemicyanea. Just as beautiful but much less aggressive IME.

I would also wait till seeing a little bit of algae before adding the algae blenny but not really that big of a deal.

The other two order probably doesn't matter too much. The Flame angel is reef safe with caution and the hawkfish may prey on smaller invertebrates (think sexy shrimp size).

It’s actually the yellow tail damsel I was thinking about. I was torn between them and the chalk bass as I heard you can have a group of 3.

What do you think about a bellus angel in addition to the above.

I wouldn't, especially with the Flame angel there as the tank is borderline size for it alone. Bellus can get as big as 7" and really need a bigger tank. The Flame will be a beautiful centerpiece fish and I would let it be the only "large-ish" fish.

Agreed, that tank is too small for a bellus.

I would recommend the hawkfish first, angel second, blenny third, and finish with a trio of damsels.
