Ordered pods, got a mantis shrimp

Hey I ordered some pods and I found a small mantis shrimp swimming around in it. What do I do here? I can still add the pods right? Trash the mantis shrimp?

That's crazy! Add the pods but is there a chance you can you house the mantis separate from the DT until you can adopt it out? I'm sure someone will take it!

I'm not sure that is a mantis shrimp. Looks more like an adult copepod in your photos.

I knew it was gong to be an amphipod . they do look alike though.

Leyth, did you upload them via the App? If yes, could you perhaps reload them by changing the setting inside the Media Sharing section from Tapatalk to attachments? The pictures below show you where that setting is.

I'm pretty certain that's an amphipod. Some of those suckers get huge. Google "amphipods" for reference. Certainly much larger than copepods, which are usually mere specs on your glass.
