So it's time to start stocking my tank what the heck coral, the only problem is I live in Binghamton NY where there are no decent saltwater aquarium stores besides one which chargers a house mortgage for their coral. Does anyone have experience ordering from live aquaria in the winter? I would put in a rather large order but want to ensure the coral arrives alive and safe. Thanks in advance for your responses

I order from liveaquaria when I can.
I've ordered corals and fish.
They have good packing practices and wouldn't worry.
Nice styrofoam boxes and heat packs.

But right now isn't when I'd order. The period between Thanksgiving and Christmas is IMO kind of risky.
Good luck.

Good vender and great guarantee. The 14 day guarantee is a huge plus over the lfs and other online venders.....

I've ordered from LA many of times and have had only 1 DOA, which was refunded immediately after calling them. I make arrangements to pick up my orders from the nearest UPS hub so my critters aren't stuck in a truck all day, if you go that route I believe you have to pick them up before noon to keep their guarantee valid.

I have only ordered with the divers den part of LA for corals abs they di a great job.
